Re: TO SAY GOODBYE - ALL Dear Sue, I just found this site this evening and learned of the passing of Julie Emmott. I didn't know her but I've been in tears for an hour ready the tributes to her. I saw your message to Jack referring to Rainbow Bridge. I'm not familiar with it but it sound like something very beautiful that I would love to read. ( I hope you do not mind, I am writing to you here, in case you do not see the all the posts to you at Cat's Pride. There are many there too, along with a more in-depth one from me.) You have my deepest sympathy, Jack, I know you miss her greatly. We shall miss her, too. She is a fine Lady, and I enjoyed hearing her talk of your many furkids !!! You are in my thoughts and prayers, Jack!!! Take care Jack, and may you feel God's loving comfort, and may He give you peace and rest. We know that Julie is resting in peace now, with your Piwacket and Morlock. May Jude help give you comfort, too, along with your other family members. You and Julie will be remembered by me, and your stories and clever posts. I do miss hearing from you, dear man !!! Well, bye for now, and feel free to contact me, if I can be of some help !!! TOPIC: Julie Emmott - A Tribute Words cannot begin to express the depth of my saddness upon learning of Julie's death. My heart goes out to those who were very close to her - most especially to Jack and the rest of her family & friends. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Julie as long nor as well as many of you did - but I am thankful to have at least have had the chance to know her - short though our aquaintence proved to be. I wish I could say something which would or could lessen the pain and sorrow her death has caused...but words at this point in time cannot stem the grief and numbing sense of loss we are all feeling right now...especially to those closest to her. The only thing I can say which will hopefully - one day bring a meassure of comfort to all of you is to pass along my sincere belief that only Julie's body is gone. The essessence of who Julie was - her spirit and soul - will forever live, not only in the memory of her family & friends and all those whose lives were forever touched by her...but within Heaven's Pearly Gates. I sincerely believe that our loss is Heaven's gain, and that as we celebrate the dawn of a new millineum here on Earth - up there in Heaven - God's newest angel is being given a halo and wings so she can fly back to Earth to lovingly protect and guide those souls God has entrusted and assigned to her care... Even though I wrote this a few months ago, I'd like to share these thoughts with all of you - in memory of Julie. I hope my words bring a measure of hope and comfort to you all..... My heart and prayers go out to those who knew her longer and better than I did - especially to Jack and the cats!! Kathy |
